Agreement to Terms

By engaging Third Eye P.I. for investigative services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services or website.

Scope of Services

Third Eye P.I. provides professional private investigation services including but not limited to:

• Surveillance and monitoring services
• Background investigations and checks
• Corporate and fraud investigations
• Digital and online investigations
• Legal support and expert testimony

All services are performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing private investigation activities in Michigan.

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information about your case
• Have a legitimate, lawful purpose for requesting investigative services
• Not use investigation results for illegal, unethical, or harmful purposes
• Make timely payments in accordance with agreed-upon terms
• Maintain confidentiality of investigation methods and findings

Payment Terms

• Retainers: Certain services (surveillance, corporate investigations) require an upfront retainer based on estimated hours
• Hourly Rates: Services are billed at agreed-upon hourly rates with specified minimums
• Expenses: All reasonable expenses (travel, mileage, database fees, equipment costs) are billed separately at cost
• Payment Due: Invoices are due within 15 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed
• Late Payments: Late payments may be subject to interest charges and suspension of services

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client matters, case details, and investigation findings. This confidentiality extends to all communications, documentation, and evidence gathered during the course of our work. We will not disclose client information except as required by law, court order, or with your explicit written consent. You are also expected to maintain confidentiality regarding our investigative methods and techniques.

No Guarantee of Results

While we apply professional expertise and best practices to every investigation, we cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes. Investigation work involves inherent uncertainties, and results depend on numerous factors beyond our control. We commit to conducting thorough, professional investigations using lawful methods, but we cannot promise that investigations will yield the specific evidence or information sought.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for services rendered
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for how you choose to use investigation findings
• You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of our services

Cancellation and Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all services rendered and expenses incurred up to the termination date. Retainers will be reconciled, with unused portions refunded and any additional amounts owed billed accordingly. We reserve the right to terminate services if you breach these terms, provide false information, or request illegal activities.

Legal Compliance

All investigations are conducted in strict compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Michigan private investigator licensing requirements. We will not engage in illegal activities, trespassing, wiretapping, hacking, or any other unlawful investigative methods. We reserve the right to refuse service requests that would require unlawful or unethical conduct.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Michigan law, with venue in the county where our principal place of business is located. Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

Website Use

When using our website, you agree to:

• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Not use automated systems to scrape or download content
• Not submit false, misleading, or harmful information through forms
• Respect intellectual property rights in our website content

Changes to Terms
